We hope you were inspired by our Prewedding Celebration Ideas – Part One. Here are some more fun and unusual ideas to inspire.
1. Tea Party
With or without alcohol (or coffee!), a tea party is a fab way to have a group celebration. Vintage sets are available for hire for a true mad hatter atmosphere, or you can go low-key and use whatever you and your guests have in the cupboard and go all out on the food and snacks.
2. Prewedding Pampering
Whether it’s a massage, manicure, pedicure or a longer spa break, this is a great way to relax with a small group of close friends or members of your wedding party. If you’re feeling organised, this could be a good time to test out some wedding looks and ideas, or you can use it as a chance to clear your mind and completely relax.
3. Country Break
Taking a longer break with friends or family is another good way to catch up, relax exchange ideas or do some planning before the wedding celebrations. Depending on where you go, you can even book outdoor activities such as canoeing, climbing or biking.
4. City Break
If the country life isn’t for you, there’s always the buzz of a big city. This is another good way to spend time with members of your wedding party, and even take the opportunity to finish off some of the wedding preparations with them. If you go with your soon-to-be spouse, then it’s also good practice for the honeymoon!
5. Shopping Day
A shopping day is a perfect activity for the wedding party, especially if you find shopping stressful and need support. Depending on whether you go towards the beginning or end of your engagement, it’s a chance to either pick up ideas for anything from dresses to catering or get the last-minute things you need. Remember to refuel yourself frequently at cafes or even bars!
